Art Classes for Children

All of our Spring Term 2025 classes start in the week beginning Monday 13th January 2025 - check out the booking pages for exact dates.

ArtShed runs after-school classes at a number of primary schools in the St Albans area. These classes run for an hour straight after school and focus on drawing and painting skills but may at times introduce other media.

We also run evening art classes for teenagers (Years 7+) in the ArtShed log cabin on London Road, St Albans and occasional holiday workshops for ages 13+.

As of January 2025 we will sadly no longer be running our Art Classes in the ArtShed for Years 1-6 on London Rd, St Albans.  After 15 years of these classes we feel it is time for a change but have loved seeing so many children grow up enjoying painting in the cabin - some of whom now come back and help us on our holiday camps!

As of January 2025 we will no longer be running our Classes in the ArtShed for Years 1-6, however, our Teen Class for Years 7+ will continue as usual.

Waiting Lists

Many of our classes fill up very quickly so we operate waiting lists.

If a class is full the booking button will show as WAIT LIST.  Please click on this to be added to the waiting list for that class for the current term and you will be contacted as soon as a space becomes available.

Classes are booked termly in advance and cost £10 per session for school-based classes and £18.75 per session for our Teen Classes in The ArtShed.
